OFFICE OF THE ECUMENICAL CATHOLIC BISHOP OF SOUTH TEXAS

A JURISDICTION OF THE ECUMENICAL CATHOLIC CHURCH (CALIFORNIA)

With Valid Apostolic Succession, Sacraments & Ministry, as Ecumeical / Old Catholic Bishops, according to the Rules & Canons of the Roman Catholic Church.

Please note that The Ecumenical Catholic Church, Incorporated is a fully functioning  501(c)3 non profit religious organization, fully recognized by the United States  Internal Revenue Service.  The Ecumenical Catholic Church, Incorporated has been incorporated and  registered for over three decades in the State of California, and operates legally in the State of Texas under the California  parent umbrella 501(c)3 corporation. We have been requested to state that  The Ecumenical Catholic Church Incorporated (California) should not be confused with other organizations bearing similar names.  Ironically, several broke away from this Church to form other independent catholic  groups in Australia or the United Kingdom. Some of these individuals attempt to claim "original" validity of the name by virtue of newly formed corporations, attempting to monopolize on  the name "Ecumenical Catholic" which is public domain.  Most of these individuals are serving in countries outside the United States.  Ironically some use similar names of this original corporation and continue to steal and plagiarize our intellectual property. We pray that such bickering and arguing among groups will cease, and peace will reign with the Peace of the Holy Spirit guilding all, however we feel such verbal attacks in e-mails and on church websites and other venues is unethical in the very least, but more importantly such actions take away from the ministry of the flock we are chosen to serve and do actual damage the Body of Christ.
