In Loving Memory of a Beloved Priest pictured above: The Reverend (Dr.) John Best, Ph.D.X , former Vicar of  St. Patrick's Ecumenical Catholic MissionParish, celebrating Ecumenical Catholic Masses weekly at the Roman Catholic Bishop's Chapel, located at the RJB Residential Towers in Austin, Texas.  This is simply one more beautiful example of the way in which Ecumenical Catholics and Roman Catholics can work side by side and put away theological differences for the Ecumenical good of the Faithful.

The Reverend Dr. John Best, Ph.D. X was a educated Theologian, newly ordained priest (just prior to his death), and served throughout most of his life as a School Superintendent, and faithful father of three.  He had always felt a calling to the priesthood, but being married, preivously, he was not eligible for Holy Orders in the Roman Church.  The Ecumenical Catholic Church took him in, and with the finishing of his transitional theology training, he was ordained a priest, his life long goal just 1.5 months before his death at Brakenridge Hospital in Austin.
